About Jeni Frame

An independent, creative picture framing workshop based in the sunny corner that is the East Neuk of Fife. Specialising in handmade, hand-finished frames with bespoke finishes. Also providing a restoration service, for precious frames which have been damaged over time.

Since graduating I have studied gilding and restoration in frames and work consistently alongside a master gilder and restorer in Edinburgh.  This has been a developing business for over a decade so far. With a keen interest and experience in conservation, I have set about creating a business of building frames for art works; which will act as suitable time pieces, as well as enhancements; acting as one with the artwork itself.

The high quality and care found in the work produced in my framing workshop is integral to the heart of the East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews. I have now built a loyal client base of artists, businesses and individuals. To date I have been providing local Artists with bespoke frames; re fitting local Business with frames and custom made prints and photographs; providing restoration and re-gilding work on damaged frames for significant pieces; providing frames for individuals, families and estates in the area and more recently; making and delivering multiple works to Edinburgh and Glasgow

I offer a full professional consultation service free of charge, to talk you through what your requirements might be; for your art work and for the space it will be living in. All picture frames are finished to conservation standard to allow longevity to your art as well as hand finished to bring originality to your home and be an appropriate fit for your work.
